The settlement was agreed on June 16th and among the parties were: YTF , the Confederation of Norwegian Industries and the Norwegian Industry.

– For the members of the agreement, this means first and foremost more per hour. Everyone receives 6.50 kroner in general supplement and 4 kroner in industry supplement. In addition, the minimum wage and the trade certificate supplement are increasing. There are concrete supplements on the payslip, says Kristine Martinsen, negotiation leader in YTF .

The parties agree, among other things:

Advance payment is included in the agreement

Provisions were negotiated regarding the advance payment of sickness, nursing and parental benefits.

This means that the employer pays the money to the employee and receives a refund from NAV, when the conditions are met. The scheme applies, among other things, to employees who have been continuously employed by the company for at least six months.

– This is important when you actually need it. If you get sick, receive care benefits or go on parental leave, your finances should not be more uncertain than necessary. That is why advance payments have been an important issue for us, says Martinsen.

Vocational certificates and minimum wage are raised

The minimum wage rate will be increased by NOK 10.50. The new rate will be NOK 236.75 per hour.

The professional certificate supplement will be increased by 3 kroner, to 17 kroner.

– We have been concerned that the settlement will benefit the members of the agreement. This is done through supplements for everyone, a higher minimum wage and increased vocational certificate supplements, says Martinsen.

Members should note this

The general supplement and the industry supplement apply from April 1, 2026. The supplements will not be paid until the settlement has been approved.

The wage increases do not apply to employees who have left the company before the adoption. Nor will there be any recalculation and subsequent payment of shift allowances, overtime allowances or other allowances for work performed before the adoption.

Other changes apply from the date of adoption.
