About us

The Norwegian Transport Federation (YTF) is a nationwide trade union for employees in the transport and logistics sector. For over 70 years , we have worked for a safe, serious and sustainable working life so that those who keep Norway running every day have predictable frameworks, solid protection and real influence. As a non-partisan organization and part of YS , we are a clear and responsible player in Norwegian working life.

Our role

YTF represents the breadth of professional groups within transport and logistics and works for framework conditions that ensure quality, safety and professionalism throughout the sector. We combine professional expertise with close knowledge of everyday working life in the industry, and we use this insight in dialogue with authorities, companies and the parties in employment.

Members and elected officials

YTF organizes over 13,500 members in bus, freight, rail, logistics, taxi, mobility, construction transport, towing, parking and administration. Together with a nationwide network of 700 elected representatives , we ensure competent support, local support and professional handling of cases and processes.
