The Goods Agreement
The freight drivers in YTF gave a clear yes to the result after this year's negotiations with the Norwegian Truck Owners' Association and the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (NHO) Logistics and Transport. In the preliminary vote, 88.15 percent voted yes, while 10.33 percent voted no. When the negotiations began, YTF 665 members linked to the collective agreement.
The parties agreed, among other things, on:
- NOK 6.50 in general surcharge from April 1
- 4 kroner in bonus from April 1
- The professional certificate supplement will be increased by 2 kroner from April 1.
- Minimum wage rates will be increased by NOK 5 from August 1st
- The food allowance rate is increased to 114 kroner.
- Advance payment of sick pay, care benefits and parental benefits for up to four months
In addition to the central negotiations, there will be local negotiations. YTF recommends that shop stewards and members use this opportunity in their own workplace.

Logistics, Port and Freight Forwarding Agreement
YTF announced a strike by 220 members at PostNord after negotiations with the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (NHO) Transport and Logistics broke down in early May regarding the Logistics, Port and Freight Forwarding Agreement. The settlement went to mediation, and a strike was imminent when the parties reached an agreement late in the evening with only one hour left in the mediation deadline.
These were the main points of the settlement:
- NOK 6.50 in general supplement (total with the February adjustment, the salary increases by NOK 13.62)
- Advance payment of sickness benefits, care benefits and parental benefits
- Secured a broad selection to work on working time regulations
The settlement received very broad support in the preliminary vote. Over XX percent voted "yes" to the result.
The Crane Agreement
Just before midnight on the day set aside for the negotiations, YTF and Work towards an agreement in this year's wage settlement for the Crane Agreement.
The result includes, among other things:
- General surcharge: NOK 6.50 to everyone on the agreement from June 1, 2026
- Industry supplement: NOK 1.50 to everyone on the agreement from June 1, 2026
- Riggers and machine movers are included as a separate salary category in the agreement, with a basic salary of 257 kroner and a supplement of 21 kroner.
- Per diem for accommodation is increased by 50 NOK on both rates (new rates will be 400 and 500 NOK)
- Advance payment of sick pay, care benefits and parental benefits for up to four months
The negotiation result was approved with XX percent of the votes in the preliminary vote.
The Environmental Agreement
YTF and the Confederation of Norwegian Industry reached an agreement on the Environmental Agreement in mid-June. The result gives everyone on the agreement 10.50 kroner more per hour from 1 April.
The parties agreed, among other things, on:
- NOK 6.50 in general surcharge from April 1
- 4 kroner in industry supplement from April 1
- The minimum wage rate is increased by NOK 10.50
- The professional certificate supplement is increased by 3 kroner.
- Advance payment of sick pay, care benefits and parental benefits for up to four months
The company agreement
YS Municipality and the Community Enterprises have agreed on this year's wage settlement on the Enterprise Agreement. YTF participated in the negotiations through YS Municipality.
The parties agreed, among other things, on:
- Positions without specific educational requirements receive NOK 18,100.
- Skilled worker positions and equivalent skilled worker positions receive NOK 18,800.
- Positions requiring a vocational certificate and one-year vocational school education receive NOK 21,100.
- 1 percent is set aside for local negotiations
The local negotiations must be completed by November 1.
Mining Industry Agreement
The parties to the Mining Industry Agreement reached an agreement without mediation in early June. In addition to wages, this time negotiations also included wool socks.
The parties agreed, among other things, on:
- NOK 6.50 in general surcharge from April 1
- The minimum wage rate is increased by 15 kroner.
- The professional certificate supplement is increased to 18 kroner per hour.
- Advance payment of sick pay, care benefits and parental benefits for up to four months
- Employees shall be provided with wool socks if necessary for the work situation.
Wholesale agreement NHO
The announced strike for 237 YTF -members of REMA Distribusjon Norge and Kolly were averted after the parties reached an agreement with the Norwegian Ombudsman on September 5. The settlement provides for salary increases and several improvements in the collective agreement. The members have a deadline to respond to the preliminary vote on September 29.
The parties agreed, among other things, on:
- NOK 6.50 in general surcharge from April 1
- The minimum wage rate will be raised by a total of NOK 16.62 in 2026. NOK 7.12 of this has already been given in the February adjustment, as a result of the guarantee provision in the agreement.
- The food allowance rate is increased to 114 kroner.
- Advance payment of sick pay for up to four months
- Ordinary working hours will no longer be able to be shifted from 17:00-19:00.
