The parties reached an agreement at the National Mediator's office at 6:00 a.m. on June 19, after the mediation continued for 6 hours overtime.
This means that there will be no strike among YTF members at Asko Oslo and Asko Molde.
– We came to the mediation with demands that were about salary, supplements and security in the event of illness and leave. Now we have a result that we can stand by. It provides concrete improvements for the members in the agreement, says Josefine Wærstad, negotiation leader in YTF .

This was the result
The result includes, among other things:
- General supplement of NOK 6.50. Minimum wage rates are raised accordingly.
- A minimum wage supplement of an additional NOK 1.50 is provided.
- This means that the minimum wage rate will be raised by NOK 8 in total.
New minimum wage rates are:
- Adult workers over 18 years old: 280.72 (37.5 hours)
- Working foremen and mechanics: 284.08 (37.5 hours)
- The food allowance rate is increased from 107 kroner to 114 kroner.
- The parties agree that the overtime supplement shall be calculated in the same way, regardless of whether one works shifts or Company-adjusted working hours (BTA). This means that the calculation basis shall include the supplement. This applies from October 2026.
- The employer must advance nursing care and parental benefits for 4 months. This applies if you have been employed for 6 months or more. Several companies have already introduced better schemes locally. These are not affected.
- The company must ensure that the individual employee can familiarize himself with what is paid into the occupational pension and the basis for its calculation.
- The wholesale fund is strengthened. The payment increases by NOK 0.50 per hour per man-year. The local club is given the opportunity to apply for support for measures to promote union support locally, under specified conditions.
- In addition, a committee has been appointed on life-phase policy and on agreement structure to make the agreement more transparent.

Salary, allowances and overtime
Many of the members of the Wholesale Agreement work shifts, inconvenient hours and with arrangements where bonuses constitute an important part of the salary. Therefore, YTF been concerned with both the general wage supplement, minimum wage rates and how overtime should be calculated.
– The general increase goes to everyone, and the minimum wage rate is raised by 8 kroner. This is important to raise the wage level for the lowest paid in the agreement. We have also received clarifications about overtime and BTA, which are of great importance to the members, says Wærstad.
Advance payment is included in the agreement
One of the most important requirements was that the employer should advance sick leave, care and parental benefits.
This means that the employer pays the money to the employee, and receives a refund from NAV when the conditions are met. Many companies already have such schemes. Now it is included in the Wholesale Agreement, so that the right does not depend on where you work.
– This is money that employees are entitled to and employees should not have to go without income while NAV processes the case. Several people already have this security locally. Now we are including it in the agreement for everyone who is covered, says Josefine Wærstad.
The announced strike action is withdrawn.
YTF had notified 21 drivers of a strike if mediation did not lead to progress. The strike affected 17 members at Asko Molde and 4 members at Asko Oslo.
Now that the parties have reached an agreement, there will be no strike. Members will report to work as normal.
