The parties reached an agreement on June 2. YTF participated in the negotiations through YS Municipality.
– This is a tidy result. Members receive central supplements, and money has been set aside for local negotiations. Now it is important that the local negotiations are actually used in the businesses, says Rameen Sheikh-Saastad in YTF .

This is agreed.
The central salary increases apply from May 1, 2026:
- Positions without specific educational requirements receive NOK 18,100.
- Skilled worker positions and equivalent skilled worker positions receive NOK 18,800.
- Positions requiring a vocational certificate and one-year vocational school education receive 21,100 kroner.
- Managers and others without a guaranteed salary receive 3.2 percent.
- 1.0 percent is set aside for local negotiations from August 1.
Inconvenience surcharges will also be increased from May 1st:
- Evening and night supplements for employees in shifts or work schedules will be increased to NOK 73 per hour.
- Evening and night supplements for other employees will be increased to NOK 34 per hour.
- Saturday and Sunday supplements will be increased to NOK 73 per hour.
Local negotiations
The local negotiations must be completed by November 1.
– The local pot is part of the result. It should not be left until the deadline approaches. Shop stewards should start the work early, collect salary information and ensure that members' demands are put forward, says Sheikh-Saastad.
Care allowance and part-time employees
The parties also agree on a protocol addition regarding care benefits. If NAV has not established an advance payment scheme by 1 June 2027, the employer shall, as a trial scheme, advance care benefits on specific terms.
YS Municipality has also specified in the protocol that part-time employees are entitled to overtime pay when they work beyond the agreed working hours.
