Breach in wholesale negotiations

YTF and the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions has broken off negotiations with the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions (NHO) Service and Trade regarding the Wholesale Agreement (NHO).

The negotiations began at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 22. The parties had set aside June 22 and 23 for the negotiations, but on the first day it became clear that it was not possible to reach an agreement at the negotiating table.

The settlement will therefore be forwarded to the Ombudsman.

Josefine Wærstad is the head of negotiations for YTF

– We would have liked to have resolved this at the negotiating table. When the employer side does not want to accommodate our demands, we must take the settlement to the Ombudsman, says Josefine Wærstad in YTF .

The wholesale agreement applies to employees in warehouses and in goods distribution in wholesale companies. Many of YTF's members on the agreement work in the Reitan group and deliver goods to Rema stores, kiosks, gas stations, etc.

The negotiating delegation to YTF : Negotiation leader Josefine Wærstad, Kenneth Langdalen (Rema Distribution Eastern Norway) and Øystein Håland Pettersen (Kolly AS).

A date for mediation has not been set. The parties will meet at the Office of the Ombudsman after the public holidays.
