The settlement provides a general increase of NOK 6.50 (in total, with the February adjustment, the salary increases by NOK 13.62) and several important improvements to the agreement, including agreement on advance payment of sick pay, care benefits and parental benefits.
In addition, secured YTF a committee to look at working hour regulations, which has been important to many members.
A good settlement for members
– This is a good result for our members. We have achieved a good financial settlement and important improvements that mean a lot in everyday working life, says YTF's negotiation leader Marius Træland.

YTF had announced a strike for 216 members at PostNord terminals in several places in the country if mediation did not progress.
– Our goal has always been to achieve a good result without having to go on strike. Therefore, we are pleased that we have now reached a solution with the National Broker, says Træland.

Important breakthrough regarding safety in case of illness
YTF highlights in particular the agreement on advance payment of sick pay as an important breakthrough in the settlement.
– When you get sick, you should know that your income will come as normal. No one should have to worry about their finances while they are sick and waiting for money from Nav. This has been an important issue for us throughout the settlement, says Træland.
He points out that this is a security that large parts of working life already have.
– Therefore, we are pleased that we have now also got this in place for our members in the agreement, he says.

YTF secured a choice about working hours
YTF also achieved success in establishing a broad, multi-party committee to work on working hour provisions during the collective bargaining period. The committee will review all working hour provisions and assess the need for changes in the run-up to the collective bargaining settlement in 2028. This has been an important issue for many members of the agreement.
– Working hours are one of the issues that most engages our members. Therefore, we want to use the collective bargaining period to take a broad look at working hours regulations and assess whether there are better solutions for the future, says YTF's negotiation leader Marius Træland.
– We enter the work with an open mind. At the same time, it is important to us that any changes take place through collective bargaining and in orderly processes that provide predictability for members, he says.
