This year, members in the bus industry have received a salary increase of 11 kroner, express bus drivers have received a weekend salary increase of 40%, and bus drivers who drive between 01:30 and 04:30 now receive a night salary increase of 40%.

After reviewing the voting figures, it appears that a large majority of members have accepted this year's results and voted yes. The 2024 bus settlement has thus been fully negotiated and adopted.

– It was unique this year that the bus settlement did not go to mediation. It has not happened before. When the latest proposal from the employer side was on the table, the negotiating delegation agreed that we could not just say no to it, says negotiation leader Marius Træland.

He led the negotiations on the bus settlement on behalf of YTF, and with him he had a negotiating delegation consisting of chief shop stewards and union board members within the bus industry.
