The Norwegian Workers' Federation has named the Shop Steward of the Year from a record number of nominees. This inspiring figure has transformed the workplace and touched the lives of many.

During the Yrkestrafikkforbundet (YTF) representative meeting on March 6-7, Erling Kragerud was hailed as the shop steward of the year among a record-high nomination of talented candidates. Known for his tireless efforts for the rights of his colleagues at a large warehouse outside Oslo, Kragerud has distinguished himself by converting temporary positions into permanent employment for approximately 40 members, a clear testament to his commitment to justice and solidarity in the workplace.
Erling has also been a champion of open dialogue and positive collaboration with employers, contributing to a more harmonious workplace. This has not only benefited the employees, but also the company's management. His skill in navigating difficult situations and his ability to safeguard the interests of employees have made him a respected and beloved figure among colleagues.
