YTF continues to support the generalization of the collective agreement for touring cars

Yrkestrafikkforbundet The union continues to support the generalization of the collective agreement, and supports the proposed changes. The union believes that there is still a need for the generalization of the minimum wage in passenger transport by touring car.

YTF points out that transport is a labor-intensive industry where wages are an important competitive factor. The union points out that foreign players operate in the market, and that this affects the wage level for drivers.

The association further points out that foreign touring cars were again present in the Norwegian market in the 2022 summer season, and that a survey among drivers of foreign-registered touring cars shows wage levels below the general minimum wage for several of those surveyed.

Against this background, I believe Yrkestrafikkforbundet that there is still a need for generalization of the collective agreement for passenger transport by touring car.
